Saint Secundel, also known as Secondello, was a hermit who lived on the island of Vindomitte, located off the coast of France. His desire for solitude and a life dedicated to prayer and contemplation led him to retreat to the secluded island. Living as a hermit, Saint Secundel sought spiritual enlightenment and connection with God through a life of austerity and devotion. He spent his days in solitude, engaging in intense prayer, meditation, and acts of penance. His presence on the island soon attracted the attention of others seeking spiritual guidance, and he became known as a wise and holy man.
One of Saint Secundel's closest companions was Saint Friard.
