Saint Sisebuto, also known as Sisebut or Sisebutus, was a revered Monk and Abbot of the Spanish monastery of Cardena. He lived in the medieval era, following the monastic tradition of the Catholic Church. Despite limited information available, his life and contributions are still regarded as an important part of Catholic history. Born in unknown circumstances, Saint Sisebuto dedicated himself to a life of spiritual contemplation and service to God. Little is known about his early life and family background, but it is believed that he was born in the region of Burgos, Castile, Spain. He joined the monastery of Cardena, where he received his religious education and took his vows as a monk.
