Biography

Saint Theodoric of Orleans, also known as Theodoric II or Teodorico, was a prominent figure in the Catholic Church during the 11th century. He was a Benedictine monk, royal counselor, Bishop of Orleans, and ultimately died while on a pilgrimage to Rome. Born in the 10th century, Theodoric joined the Benedictine Order and became a monk at the Saint-Pierre-le-Vif monastery in Sens, France....
