Blessed Eleanora, also known as Eleonora, was born in 1222 in Provence, France, as the daughter of Count Raymond IV of Provence. At the young age of ten, she married King Henry III of England on 14th January 1236, becoming the Queen of England. Despite her tender age, Blessed Eleanora carried out her duties as queen with grace and dignity.
