Blessed François Doudinot De La Boissière, also known as François Doudinot, was born on 3 September 1746 in Saint-Germain, Haute-Vienne, France. He grew up in a devout Catholic family and demonstrated an early inclination towards religious life. Following his calling, François was ordained a priest in the diocese of Limoges, France.
