Blessed Francinaina Cirer Carbonell, also known as Francinaina of the Sorrowful Mother of God, was born on 1 June 1781 in Sencelles, Mallorca, Islas Baleares, Spain. She was the youngest of six children born to Paulo Cirer and Joan Carbonell, and grew up in a devout and pious home.
