Blessed Josep Bardolet Compte, also known as Brother Benet Josep, was a member of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, a Catholic religious order. He is recognized as a martyr of the Spanish Civil War, having sacrificed his life for his faith. Blessed Josep was born on July 20, 1903, in Capsanes, a small town in the province of Tarragona, Spain.
