Blessed Julián Pozo Ruiz De Samaniego, a Redemptorist priest, is remembered as a martyr of the Spanish Civil War. He was born on January 7, 1903, in Payueta, Alava, Spain. His commitment to the Catholic faith and his calling to serve the Church led him to join the Redemptorist congregation.
