Blessed Pierina Morosini, born on 7 January 1931 in Fiobbio di Albino, Italy, is celebrated as a martyr to chastity. She was the fourth of eight children born into a poor family in the diocese of Bergamo. From a young age, Pierina showed deep piousness and devotion to God. In fact, she made a private vow of chastity, dedicating herself completely to the service of the Lord.
