Blessed Plàcid Fàbrega Julià was the son of Pablo and Maria Julià. Following the example of his older brother, he joined the Marist Brothers of the Schools as a teenager at San Andrea Palo de Mar in Barcelona, Spain. He took the religious name Brother Bernat and made his vows on September 8, 1905....
