The Martyrs of Ashkelon were a group of several pilgrims from Egypt to Cilicia (in modern-day Turkey) during the persecutions of Emperor Maximinus. Their intention was to minister to their fellow Christians who were suffering under the Emperor's reign. Unfortunately, their noble mission led them to a tragic fate....
