Pope Saint Linus, also known as Linus, was the second Pope of the Catholic Church and the first to be chosen in Rome, Italy. While not much is known about his life, details about him can be found in early Christian writings and in the liturgical prayers of the Mass. According to the early Church Father Irenaeus, Linus is the same person mentioned by Saint Paul in his letter to Timothy (2 Timothy 4)....
