Saint Adela of Blois, also known as Adela of Normandy, was born around 1067 in Normandy, France. She was the youngest daughter of King William the Conqueror of England and his wife Matilda of Flanders. Adela's upbringing was influenced by her prominent royal lineage, and her devout Catholic faith took root early in her life. In 1080, Adela married Stephen of Blois, the Count of Blois, Chartres, and Meaux in France....
