Saint Aldetrudis, also known as Adeltrudis or Aldetrude, was born in France, the daughter of Saint Vincent Madelgarus and Saint Waldetrudis. She was the sister of Saint Madalberta and the niece of Saint Aldegund of Maubeuge. Aldetrudis grew up in a pious and devout family, surrounded by holy influences. From a young age, she displayed a deep faith and a strong desire to serve God....
