Saint Anselmo of Bomarzo, also known as Anselm, was born in the early 6th century in the Mugnano region of Bomarzo, Italy. He was born into a wealthy and devoutly Catholic family who recognized his intellectual gifts and encouraged him to study the Bible from a young age. When the last of his family members passed away, Anselmo made the decision to give away his inherited wealth to the poor....
