Saint Berthold of Parma, also known as Bertoldo, was born in Parma, Italy to Anglo-Saxon parents who had fled England during the Norman Conquest of 1066. Little is known about his early life, but it is believed that he was deeply committed to his faith from a young age. Berthold's devotion to God led him to join the monastery of Saint Alexander as a lay brother....
