Saint Chrysolius of Armenia, also known as Chryseuil, Chrysole, Crisole, and Crisolio, was born in Armenia to a devout Christian family. He lived during the time of the Roman Emperor Diocletian, who carried out severe persecutions against Christians. In order to escape the persecutions, Chrysolius fled his native Armenia and sought refuge in north-east France....
