Saint Desideratus of Bourges, also known as Desire, Dezydery, or Desiderato, was born in Soissons, France, into a pious family. His parents were deeply devoted to their faith and transformed their home into a hospital to care for the sick and needy. Tragically, both of Desideratus' brothers, Deodato and Didier, died as martyrs, which undoubtedly influenced his own spiritual journey....
