Saint Desiderius of Cahors, also known as Didier or Desiderio, was born around the year 580 in Albi, France. He was born into the Gallo-Roman nobility, the son of Salvius and Herchenfreda. Desiderius had a brother named Saint Rusticus, with whom he would later share a profound spiritual bond....
