Saint Donatus of Münstereifel, also known as Donatus of Arezzo, was born around the year 140 in Rome, Italy. He was the son of Faustus, a non-Christian, and his mother Flaminia, who was a devout Christian. Donatus grew up in a household where both faiths were present, but his father's life was saved from a severe illness through the intercession of Saint Gervasius....
