Saint Droctoveus, also known as Droctonius, Droctovée, Droctovius, Drote, Drottoveo, and Drotté, was a renowned Catholic Monk and Abbot in France during the 6th century. He was born in Auxerre, France, and little is known about his early life and family background. Saint Droctoveus dedicated himself to a life of spirituality and entered the order of monks in one of the abbeys in Paris, France....
