Saint Etherius of Nicomedia, also known as Aetherius of Nicomedia, was martyred during the persecutions of the Roman Emperor Diocletian. Born in Nicomedia, which is now located in modern-day Turkey, Etherius lived during the tumultuous times of the late 3rd and early 4th centuries.
