Saint Gerald of Braga

Saint Gerald of Braga, also known as Gérald de Moissac, Geraldo, and Gerardo, was born to the noble class in Cahors, Gascony (in modern France). Little is known about his early life, but it is believed that he dedicated himself to the monastic life as a Benedictine monk at Moissac, France. During his time there, he focused on teaching grammar and music, nurturing the minds and talents of his fellow monks....
