Saint Gotteschalk

Saint Gotteschalk, also known as Godescalco, Godescalcus, Godeschalc, Gotteschalc, or Gottschalk, was born into a noble family as the son of Udo, Prince of the Abrodites. He was also known as the Prince of the Wends, a Slavic people inhabiting parts of modern-day Germany and Poland.
