Saint Herulph of Langres

Saint Herulph of Langres, also known as Herulph of Ellwangen or Hariolfus, was born to the nobility as the son of the Count of Ellwangen, in what is now modern Germany. Little is known about his early life, but he dedicated himself to a life of piety and virtue. Herulph's desire for a deeper spiritual life led him to become a Benedictine monk at the famous abbey of Saint Gall in Switzerland....
