Saint Isidore of Chios, also known as Isidore the Sailor, was a courageous and devout Christian who played a pivotal role in bringing Christianity to the Greek island of Chios. Born in Alexandria, Egypt, it is believed that he lived during the reign of Emperor Decius in the 3rd century AD.
