Saint Julio Álvarez Mendoza, also known as Father Julio, was born on 20 December 1866 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. He was ordained as a priest in 1894 and dedicated his entire ministry to the town of Mechoacanejo, Jalisco. Father Julio was known for his deep devotion to the Eucharist and his commitment to reaching out to the people, particularly those who would not or could not come to the church....
