Saint Maria Josefa Sancho De Guerra, also known as Maria Josefa of the Heart of Jesus and Maria Giuseppina del Cuore di Gesù, was a dedicated nun and a prominent figure in the Catholic Church. She was born on September 7, 1842, in Vitoria, in the Basque Country region of Spain. At the tender age of 18, Maria Josefa joined the Institute of the Servants of Mary and took on the name Maria Josefa of the Heart of Mary....
