Saint Mary Magdalen of Pazzi, also known as Mary-Magdalen de’Pazzi, was born as Catherine in Florence, Italy, in the year 1566. She came from a devout Catholic family and received a religious upbringing. At the age of 14, Catherine was sent to a convent, indicating her early inclination towards religious life. However, her family did not support her vocation and took her back home, hoping that she would marry well....
