Saint Maurus of Verdun, also known as Maurus of Paris, was born in the 4th century in Gaul, which is now modern-day France. He is best known for his role as the Bishop of Verdun, a position he held from 353 to 383. Little is known about his early life and upbringing, but Maurus' remarkable devotion to his faith led him to a life dedicated to serving God's people....
