Saint Meinards, also known as Meinhard or Meinardo, was a member of the Canons Regular of Saint Augustine. He was born around 1130 in Segeberg, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. Little is known about his early life, but it is believed that he received a thorough education in his youth. In his early adulthood, Meinards felt a deep calling to serve God and dedicate his life to the Church....
