Saint Meriadoc of Vannes, also known as Meredith, Meriadec, Meriasek, or Meryasek, was a wealthy lord of a large manor in the 6th and 7th centuries. He was born in Wales but eventually found his way to Brittany, France. Despite his privileged position, Meriadoc felt a deep calling to give up his riches and devote his life to serving God and helping the poor....
