Saint Nennius, also known as Nennidhius, Ninnidh, or Ninnaid, was born to the Irish nobility and was drawn to a life of religious dedication from an early age. He received his spiritual education from Saint Fiechus of Leinster and Saint Finnian of Clonard, two revered saints of the time. After completing his studies, Nennius decided to live as a hermit on Inis-muighe-samb, an island located in Lake Erne....
