Saint Principius of Soissons, also known as Principio, was born into the Gallo-Roman nobility in the 5th century. He was the son of Emilius, Count of Laon, and Saint Celina, and was blessed to have an elder brother who would also become a saint, Saint Remigius of Rheims.
