Saint Romuald, also known as Romualdo, was an Italian nobleman who led a tumultuous youth. Born around 951 in Ravenna, Italy, he witnessed a tragic event as a young man when his father killed another man in a duel. This experience deeply affected him, and he felt compelled to seek redemption for the crime. In his pursuit of atonement, Romuald decided to become a Benedictine monk at the Abbey of Classe in Italy....
