Saint Sebastian, also known as Saint Sebastien, was born in Narbonne, Gaul (part of modern France), during the third century. He was the son of a wealthy Roman family and received his education in Milan. Sebastian later became an officer of the Imperial Roman army and eventually rose to the position of captain of the guard. He gained favor with the Roman Emperor Diocletian, who admired his skills and loyalty....
