Saint Simón de Rojas, also known as Simón Ruiz de Rojas or Simon of Rojas, was born on 28 October 1552 in Valladolid, Spain. From a young age, he displayed a deep piety and devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is even said that his first words, at the age of 14 months, were Ave Maria. At the age of 12, Simón joined the Trinitarians in Valladolid and made his religious profession on 28 October 1572....
