Saint Stanislaus Kostka, also known as Stanislaw Kostka, was born on October 28, 1550, in Rostkovo, Poland. He was born into a noble family and was the son of a senator. From a young age, Stanislaus showed great piety and a deep devotion to the Catholic faith. At the age of 14, Stanislaus and his brother Paul were sent to the Viennese Jesuit college to receive a Jesuit education....
