Saint Vinhson Duong, also known as Peter, was a married layman and fisherman by trade in the apostolic vicariate of Central Tonkin, which is present-day Vietnam. He was born around 1821 in Doãn Trung, Thái Bình, Vietnam. During the period of persecution under Emperor Tu Duc, Saint Vinhson Duong steadfastly refused to renounce his Christian faith and was ready to face any consequence that came with it....
