Saint Wivina, also known as Vivina, was born in 1103 in Oisy, Flanders, Belgium. From a young age, she exhibited a deep devotion to her faith and a strong desire for a life of solitude and prayer. Despite receiving numerous offers of marriage, she turned them all down, feeling called to a more contemplative life. At the age of 23, Wivina decided to become a hermitess near Brussels, Belgium....
