Biography

Blessed Benito Iñiguez De Heredia Alzola, also known as Gaudencio, was a monk and a member of the Hospitallers of Saint John of God. He was born on 16 April 1882 in Dallo, Ávila, Spain. From an early age, he showed a deep devotion to God and a strong desire to serve others. Benito joined the religious community of the Hospitallers of Saint John of God, known for their selfless dedication to caring for the sick and marginalized.
