Biography

Blessed Eulogio Álvarez López was a Trappist monk and a martyr of the Spanish Civil War. He was born on July 28, 1916, in Quintana de Fuseros, León, Spain. Eulogio dedicated his life to the pursuit of spiritual enlightenment and joined the Trappist community in the monastery of San Isidro de Dueñas.
