Biography

Blessed Ezequiel Álvaro De La Fuente, also known as Ezequiel of Cerrato, was a Trappist monk who attained martyrdom during the Spanish Civil War. Born on 21 May 1917 in Espinosa de Cerrato, Palencia, Spain, Ezequiel led a pious and devout life from an early age. His deep love for God and his desire to serve Him led him to enter the Trappist monastery of San Isidro de Dueñas.
