Biography
Blessed Ezequiél Prieto Otero, also known as Eusebio of Saludes or Eusebius, was born on 19 February 1885 in Saludes, León, Spain. Feeling called to the religious life, Ezequiél joined the Franciscan Capuchins on 2 February 1907, taking the name Eusebius. A year later, on 2 February 1908, he made his profession as a lay brother.
