Biography
Blessed Ferran Castán Messeguer, also known as Ferran Castán, was a member of the Claretians and one of the many courageous individuals who suffered martyrdom during the Spanish Civil War. Born on 1 April 1915 in the town of Fonz, Huesca, Spain, he grew up in a devout Catholic family. As a young man, Ferran felt called to serve God and joined the Claretian missionary congregation, known for its commitment to spreading the Gospel and proclaiming the message of Jesus Christ.
