Biography
Blessed Jacinto Gómez Peña, also known as Brother Joaquín, was born on 26 July 1895 in Alfoz de Bricia, Campino, Burgos, Spain. He was raised in a devout and pious family, deeply rooted in their Catholic faith. Jacinto's family had a history of religious involvement as his brother and uncle were both members of the Piarists, a religious community dedicated to the education of children and youth.
