Biography
Blessed Jacques Salès, also known as James Salès, was a French Jesuit who dedicated his life to preaching against Protestantism in the Cevennes region of France during the late 16th century. He was born in 1556 and grew up in a devout Catholic family. From an early age, Jacques showed exceptional piety and a strong inclination towards religious life.
