Biography
Blessed Jaume Cortasa Monclús, also known as Pere, was born on 15 July 1883 in MillÖ, Lleida, Spain. He was a devoted monk and a member of the Marist Brothers of the Schools. The Marist Brothers were a religious congregation founded by Saint Marcellin Champagnat in France in the early 19th century, focused on providing education and spiritual guidance to young people.
