Blessed Jesús Miquel Girbau, also known as Father Timoteu of Palafrugell, was a Franciscan Capuchin friar who was born on 24 March 1897 in Palafrugell, Girona, Spain. He was baptized with the name Jesús Miquel Girbau and later took the religious name, Timoteu, upon entering the Capuchin order.
