Biography

Blessed Joan Rafí Figuerola, born on 30 October 1885 in Vilabella, Tarragona, Spain, was a devout Catholic who dedicated his life to the service of God. He became a member of the Claretians, a religious congregation founded by Saint Anthony Mary Claret, and professed his vows on 8 December 1891.
